Hard Surface Render


 Using a secondary source texture image, i wanted to render this provided 3D model of a turret through overlaying it with metal texture.

 I needed to line the metal with the shape of the turret as accurately as possible to ensure if flowed smoothly around the shape and looked convincing while adjusting the opacity.

 The main body of the turret was fairly simple but the barrels curved nature made it more challenging to wrap the texture around.


Additionally i could have added lighting or battle damage to further detail the turret, making it more interesting.
